Also discussed in this section is the implementation of teaching and learning methods that form the basis of this study's discussion. This study employs a library research method by referring to scholarly books, journals, and related articles. The study's findings indicate that the development of Sekolah Agama Rakyat (People's Religious Schools) has undergone three phases or stages of change. The first stage involved religious studies conducted face-to-face between teachers and students in prayer houses, mosques, and traditional religious schools (pondok). This practice is also known as pondok education or traditional religious school education. In the second stage, religious studies were carried out in a more organized and structured manner based on schedules that included both academic and religious subjects. Teaching activities were conducted in madrasahs with dedicated buildings. In the subsequent stage, Sekolah Agama Rakyat replaced madrasah education when the state government agreed to allocate specific funds for infrastructure development and teaching.
2024-10-28T15:11:24+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Abd Munir Mohamed Noh, Mohd Zahirwan Halim Zainal Abidin, Paiz Hassan, Muhammad Yusri Yusofhttp://ejournal.uniks.ac.id/index.php/InternationalConferenceUNIKS/article/view/3825Perspective of Access Theory in the Context of Illegal Gold Mining: Insights from Kuantan Singingi Regency2024-10-28T15:20:45+07:00Abdillah Lubisabdillah.lbs6296@grad.unri.ac.idZulfan Saamabdillah.lbs6296@grad.unri.ac.id
Illegal gold mining in Kuantan Singingi Regency, Indonesia, is a complex issue influenced by various power dynamics and socio-economic factors. This qualitative case study examines the application of access theory in the context of illegal gold mining in the region. The study employs a literature review and an analysis of structural and relational access mechanisms to understand the factors driving the persistence of illegal mining activities. The results reveal that financial incentives, low entry barriers, regulatory gaps, political influences, and psychosocial factors contribute to the prevalence of unlicensed and artisanal small-scale gold mining (ASGM). The lack of access to technology and effective governance exacerbates the environmental degradation caused by these activities. The study highlights the need for a cross-sector collaboration approach involving government, security agencies, NGOs, local communities, and the private sector to address the challenges posed by illegal gold mining. The findings emphasize the importance of leveraging technology, such as remote sensing and GIS-cellular automata (CA) concepts, for improved modeling and monitoring of unauthorized land use. Furthermore, understanding the socio-economic factors driving illegal mining, such as access to capital and using privately owned or rented land, is crucial for developing sustainable solutions and promoting equitable resource management in the region.
2024-10-28T15:20:10+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Abdillah Lubis, Zulfan Saamhttp://ejournal.uniks.ac.id/index.php/InternationalConferenceUNIKS/article/view/3826Prospects Of Halal Production: A Study At Am Al-Washliyah2024-10-28T15:32:33+07:00Burhanuddin Al-Butaryburhanuddin01@umnaw.ac.idHelma Widyaburhanuddin01@umnaw.ac.idHermansyah Alamburhanuddin01@umnaw.ac.idRoos Nellyburhanuddin01@umnaw.ac.id
The need for Muslims for halal products is a necessity, because this is directly related to the commandments of the Islamic religion, namely eating food from sustenance that is halal, good and blessed. These activities are generally carried out by women. Traditional gold panning means gold mining carried out manually by individuals using pan. The interesting thing about this activity is that panning has been going on for a long time and is passed down from one generation to the next. This traditional gold mining activity is an alternative livelihood system. Traditional gold panning activities need to be maintained because this activity functions as a form of community resilience for survival. There are concerns that traditional gold panning activities will be eroded by the current of modernization and globalization such as the development of modern gold mining and the spread of gold mining activities without permits. Since the last 20 years, data in the field has shown the emergence of illegal gold mining. This behavior shows the erosion of ecocentism. Traditional gold panning activities need to be maintained which refers to ecocentrism environmental ethics. The aim of this research is to analyze local wisdom practices in gold panning that can support environmental conservation. This research data collection used observation techniques and in-depth interviews. Next, it is analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the research are that the forms of local wisdom in traditional gold panning activities are using pan made from wooden buttresses, shallow surface excavation, panning locations without rent, panning locations open to local residents and outsiders, and the gold recovery process using manual skills without using mercury, gears and machines. It is necessary to formulate written regulations approved by the government regarding sustainable traditional gold panning so that this activity is a form of community resilience in living a sustainable life.
2024-10-28T18:03:30+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Melia Nurafni, Yusni Ikhwan Siregar, Zulfan Saam, Guslianahttp://ejournal.uniks.ac.id/index.php/InternationalConferenceUNIKS/article/view/3832Methods of Issuing Fatwas in Islamic Legislation: A Historical Review2024-10-28T18:20:26+07:00Muhd Imran Abd Razakimranrazak@uitm.edu.myMuhammad Asyraf Mohd Ridzuanmranrazak@uitm.edu.myMohd Farhan Abd Rahmanimranrazak@uitm.edu.myAhmad Firdaus Mohd Noorimranrazak@uitm.edu.myKharunnisa A Shukorimranrazak@uitm.edu.my
The methodology of issuing fatwas is highly significant to ensure that fatwas are issued based on discipline to meet the requirements of Islamic law, are relevant to the needs of society, and simultaneously preserve the sustainability of Islamic teachings. New converts, who are isolated in the cultural context, and the Bedouin Arabs, who live in rural areas and lead lives isolated from urban society, require different approaches compared to urban dwellers or those who have long embraced Islam. Indigenous peoples share similarities with these groups in a socio-cultural context. Therefore, this study will examine the guidance and approach of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in interacting with isolated communities to provide guidance for preachers and educators when dealing with Indigenous Muslim communities. This study uses a fully literature-based approach by reviewing documentation analyses, including classical Islamic texts, journal articles, seminar papers, and others. The findings indicate that the position of Indigenous peoples is nearly akin to that of the Bedouin Arabs at the beginning of Islam and also includes new converts. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) approached them with kindness and gentleness, as he understood the nature of the Bedouin Arabs and new converts. Leading people from disbelief to the light of Islam was the most important agenda at that time, followed by the gradual and easy introduction of Sharia obligations. The aim of this study is to find a comparison of marriage age limits in Indonesia and the Maldives. In this study the author uses a normative and comparative approach. The age limit in getting married is very important. Because marriage requires psychological maturity. The Quran and the Hadith do not specifically mention the minimum age for marriage. The commonly known requirement is to be well-informed, well-conscious, able to distinguish between good and bad so that it can give consent to marriage, until the time of a person to marry (buluq an-nishah), with the word "rusyd" In Indonesia, the amendment to the Act No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage, became the Law No. 16 of 2019, which sets the minimum marriage age for women equal to the minimum age of marriage for men, which is 19 (nine) years. In Maldives, the Maldivian State, the minimum age for marriage is 18 years with exceptions. However, according to Islamic law, individuals who have reached puberty can marry before the age of 18 with parental permission and registered in the Register of Marriages.
2024-10-29T09:52:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Afrinald Rizhanhttp://ejournal.uniks.ac.id/index.php/InternationalConferenceUNIKS/article/view/3848Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals in Komang Sentajo Island Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency2024-11-14T11:13:30+07:00Desriadidesriadiuniks033@gmail.comRisvandivansentra@gmail.comMelliofatriamelliofatriahendri@gmail.comLatifatus Sa’adalatifampa03@gmail.comNur Naziha Nadianurnazihanadia@gmail.com
Sustainable development, known as the SDGs, aims to improve and advance public welfare which is carried out continuously and continuously.
