ANALISIS MINAT MASYARAKAT NON MUSLIM KECAMATAN KUANTAN TENGAH UNTUK BERTRANSAKSI DI BANK SYARIAH (Studi Kasus Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani)

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia which is currently progressing. This is evidenced by the number of conventional commercial banks converting to Islamic branches. One of them is in Kuantan Singingi Regency which currently stands Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani precisely in  Kuantan Tengah District. The existence of Kcp Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani Syariah BRI Bank in the middle of the people of Kuantan Tengah District was able to attract and influence the interest of non-Muslim people to transact at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani.cThis research aims to determine the interest of the non-Muslim community in Kuan tan Tengah District to make transactions at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani and the driving and inhibiting factors for the non-Muslim community of Kuantan Tengah District in choosing transactions at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani. The population in this study was the non-Muslim community in Kuantan Tengah District totaling 3,318 people and the authors set a sample of 44 people. The sampling technique used accidental sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively.The the results of this research, it was explained that the interest of the non-Muslim community in Kuantan Tengah District to make transactions at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani was included in the quite high category as indicated by the number 50.91%. There are two factors that influence the interest of non-Muslim people to transact at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani, namely the driving factor and the inhibiting factor. The driving factor for the interest of the non-Muslim community in Kuantan  Tengah District to make transactions at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani is the location and service of the Kuansing Ahmad Yani BRI Syariah Bank, while the inhibiting factor for the interest of the non-Muslim community to transact at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani is the lack of promotions carried out by Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani and inadequate facilities such as only one ATM machine and a small parking area at Bank BRI Syariah Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani.
