PENGARUH LATAR BELAKANG PERSONAL DAN PENGETAHUAN DEWAN TENTANG ANGGARAN TERHADAP PERAN DPRD DALAM PENGAWASAN KEUANGAN DAERAH (Studi Kasus Pada DPRD Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of personal background and council knowledge on budgets on the role of DPRD in regional financial supervision.The population used in this study were all members of the Regional People's Representative Council of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The sampling method in this study is a census. The research data were obtained from a questionnaire (primary). This research uses a quantitative approach and uses a type of causality. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis with t test and the coefficient of determination. Partially the results of the research, namely personal background (personal background) have a positive and significant effect on the role of DPRD in regional financial supervision, this is evidenced by a significance value less than 5% (0.017 <0.05). significant to the role of DPRD in regional financial supervision, this is evidenced by the significance value less than 5% (0.002 <0.05). Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), it is explained that 49.5% of the variable of the role of the DPRD in regional financial supervision is influenced by the personal background and council knowledge about the budget and the remaining 50.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in the study.
