Abstract

This research was conducted at the office of the Head of Sungai Sorik Village, Kuantan Hilir Seberang District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out how the performance of the Sungai Sorik Village Office Equipment is. This type of thesis research is Quantitative Descriptive with data collection methods through questionnaires, observation, documentation. The respondents of this study were village heads. general community, the people of Sungai Sorik Village. Using a random sampling technique is a technique for withdrawing informants subjectively with the intention of having a specific purpose, which assumes that the informants taken have the necessary information for the research to be carried out. All populations in this study amounted to 45 people by finding the percentage results using the slovin formula. Obstacles faced by village officials in Sungai Sorik, Kuantan Hilir Seberang District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in improving the performance of village office staff, firstly Discipline which is a common problem, secondly, educational factors that have been reduced, the efforts of village officials in Sungai Sorik, Kuantan Hilir Seberang District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in improving the performance of the apparatus village office, firstly increase the education of officials which will be more careful in recruiting and placing officials in the village office, secondly there is control or supervision for officials so they can comply with applicable regulations, thirdly there needs to be strict sanctions given to village office officials who violate regulation. According to the results of distributing the questionnaires, the performance of the Sungai Sorik village office apparatus, Kuantan Huluri District, opposite Kuantan Singingi District, was not good.
