PENERAPAN KEPEMIMPINAN LURAH DALAM MEWUJUDKAN GOOD GOVERNANCE DI KELURAHAN SUNGAI JERING TELUK KUANTAN KECAMATAN KUANTAN TENGAH KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

Good governance is an ideal governance practice in order to provide services to the community that cannot be separated from the professionalism of government administrators, such as government officials who has moral and able to provide easy, fast, appropriate services at affordable costs. Sungai Jering village Head village, Teluk Kuantan, Kuantan Tengah district, Kuantan Singingi regency, is an office that aims to serve the community directly. Where in providing good services, the application of good governance in the head of village leadership must also be applied properly. But based on observations of the research it can be seen that the application of the head of village leadership in achieving good governance in Sungai Jering village, Teluk Kuantan city, Kuantan Tengah district, Kuantan Singingi regency has not been implemented well. This is due to the lack of head of village’s participation in implementing village programs. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the head of village leadership in realizing good governance in Sungai Jering village, Teluk Kuantan city, Kuantan Tengah district, Kuantan Singingi regency. the informants were five person consisting of Sungai Jering village officials. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The sampling techniquewas purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that the Application of head of village leadership in realizing good governance in Sungai Jering village, Teluk Kuantan city ,Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi regency has not realized yet the principles of good governance.
