ABSTRACT
This research was conducted at Teluk Kuatan Market, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The aim of the study was to determine the level of profit and to know the response of carcass, offal, head, claw and brackish prices to retailers' income. Data were analyzed using multiple regression equations. Model estimation is done by using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) estimation technique with the SPSS-17 program.
The results showed that the broiler marketing business in the Teluk Kuantan market benefited this from the results of the analysis of Revenue Cost Ratio, the results of the R / C> 1 analysis showed that the total revenues obtained were greater than the total production costs incurred so that the business activities carried out by retailers in marketing broilers they have benefited.
The results of the estimation research on each variable towards (carcass, offal, head, claw and brutu) have a significant influence on the income of retailers. The increase in carcass and offal prices can increase the income of retailers, this is evident that carcasses and edible offal are parts of chicken that have high value and are the most important part for sale.
