Critical Thinking: Penyelesaian Masalah Garis Singgung Lingkaran Berbasis Inquiri Model
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the critical thinking abilities of students at SMAN 3 Sukoharjo in solving the problem of the length of a tangent line to a circle based on the Inquiry Model. The subjects in this research were 36 students of class XI F.5.A SMAN 3 Sukoharjo, consisting of 11 men and 25 women. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The time for carrying out the research is during the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques use observation methods, questionnaires and documentation. Research shows that the Inquiry Model is considered successful in being applied in this class to improve students' critical thinking skills. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the Inquiry Model can improve the critical thinking skills of class XI F.5.A students at SMAN 3 Sukoharjo.
