Abstract

The general people is aware that maize cobs and cassava peels are waste materials that can contaminate the environment. One way to boost the financial worth of corn cobs and cassava peels is to turn them into biobriquettes. Through the creation of briquettes. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the composition of the cassava peel and corn cob mixture affects the biobriquettes' quality. On the biobriquettes' quality. In order to create biobriquettes, a carbonization process at 200 C is used, followed by mixing with different ratios of corn cob and cassava peel (10:90, 10:90, and 10:90). composition of up to 6% of the total material to be molded, with 10:90, 30:70, 50:50, 70:30, and 90:10 components, as well as adhesive.  All of the material that has to be molded. After that, molding and 3 psi pressing were completed. In order to assess the biobriquettes' quality, the following A variety of the biobriquettes' properties, including their moisture content, ash content, fly content, and calorific value, were examined in order to assess the quality of the product. According to the findings, biobriquettes with a 50:50 raw material composition, 4,69% moisture content, 4,69% ash content, and 4,69% calorific value produced the greatest out comes. 67,37%, carbon tethered, 4,69%, fly content 23%, ash content 4,94%, and calorific value 5602 cal/gr. Tethered carbon at 67,37%. The results of this biobricket production show that biobriquettes made from a mixture of cassava peel and corn cob can be used as an alternative fuel.
