PERSEPSI MAHASISWA FAKULTAS ILMU PENDIDIKAN DAN SAINS ISLAM TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN
Abstract
The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant changes in various sectors, including education. This study aims to examine the perceptions of students at the Faculty of Islamic Education and Science, Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi towards the use of AI in the learning process and academic development. The research method used is a quantitative approach by distributing online questionnaires to students. Sampel technique in this research using random sampling witch 30 responden. The results of the study show that the majority of students have a very positive perception of the use of AI, especially in facilitating understanding of material, time management, searching for references, and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. However, there are also concerns regarding the potential for decreased creativity, learning independence, and the risk of violating academic ethics such as plagiarism. These findings emphasize the importance of regulation, education, and supervision in the use of AI in order to provide optimal contributions to the quality of education without ignoring moral values and academic integrity. Thus, AI is expected to be an innovative and responsible tool in supporting the learning process in higher education.
