EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM BIMBEL ANAK CERDAS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA DI DESA PULAU KEDUNDUNG
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the “Bimbel Anak Cerdas” program in improving the motivation and learning engagement of elementary school students in Pulau Kedundung, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The program was carried out by students of Universitas Islam Kuantan Singingi as a form of community-based educational intervention. A quantitative-descriptive approach was employed, using data collection techniques such as pre-test and post-test questionnaires, observations, informal interviews, and documentation. The findings show an increase in learning motivation from 54% to 86% and in student engagement from 40% to 80%. This improvement indicates that a tutoring program designed to be communicative and contextual can effectively foster students’ enthusiasm and active participation in learning. Which emphasize the importance of social guidance and the fulfillment of psychological needs in the learning process. Thus, the program has proven effective in creating a positive learning environment in areas with limited access to education.
