Abstract

Police are law enforcement officers. Violations or criminal acts by members of the Police that are not in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the Police of course have legal consequences. The provisions regarding the Police Professional Code of Ethics as stipulated in the National Police Chief Regulation Number 7 of 2006 and the National Police Chief Regulation Number 8 of 2006, are moral principles with the hope of growing high commitment for all members of the National Police to obey and implement the Police Professional Code of Ethics. how the application of ethical code sanctions for members of the Police in narcotics abuse at the Kuantan Singingi Police and What are the obstacles faced in the application of ethical code sanctions for members of the Police in narcotics abuse at the Kuantan Singingi Police. For this writing, the author uses an empirical sociological legal research method with way of survey, while the nature of the research is descriptive with sampling techniques using population and samples with purposive sampling method.
