Abstract

The smooth operation of the tasks of government and national development is very dependent on the perfection of state apparatus such as civil servants, especially civil servants, therefore, in order to achieve national development goals As public officials who have the responsibility of obtaining operational service vehicles Normatively Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 7 In 2006 concerning the standardization of Regional Government Work Facilities and Infrastructure article 1 letter g, what is meant by official vehicles is government property which is used only for official purposes, consisting of official vehicle vehicles, operational service vehicles / official service vehicles, and special service vehicles / fields. Based on these conditions, it can be ascertained that the use of official cars other than what is determined, it can be said that the form of abuse of authority in this case is the misuse of official cars. Law enforcement for misuse of official cars can be done with preventive and repressive measures. The form of law enforcement through a serious government policy in which raids carried out by the police are routinely warned, giving appeals and reprimands. While repressive actions can be carried out administratively and actions in corruption law as stipulated in Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes.
