TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS TERHADAP PENAMBANGAN EMAS TANPA IZIN DI WILAYAH HUKUM KEPOLISIAN SEKTOR CERENTI KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

This research is focused on the law enforcement against illegal gold mining in the jurisdiction of the police sector of cerenti. the research questions proposed are 1.how is the law enforcement against illegal gold mining crimes in the jurisdiction of the police sector of cerenti? 2. What are the inhibiting factors in the law enforcement of illegal gold mining in the jurisdiction of the police sector of cerenti, KuantanSingingi? Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of law enforcement against illegal gold miners in Cerenti District has been working properly. The actions taken by the police sector of Cerenti in eradicating the illegal gold mining crimes are including: preventive actions and represive actions. The preventive actions are in the form of giving appeals and socialization or legal counseling about criminal acts of illegal gold mining. Meanwhile, for the represive actions by the police are including: 1. Investigation 2. Arrests,            3.detention      4.         Searching 5.Confiscation. In addition, the inhibiting factors of the law enforcement of illegal gold mining are: 1. The place of law enforcement is not accessible, 2 lack of legal  awareness in the community 3. Limited Facilities and infrastructures 4.The Personnel of Officers Who Protect the Actors of Criminal Acts of Illegal Gold Mining.
