Abstract
This study aims to find out how Human Resource Development in the Office of the Sentajo Raya district, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The researcher found that there were problems that the development of human resources had not been carried out optimally. This is because there are still employees who lack of skills in carrying out work, lack of productivity possessed of employees in providing services to the community, lack of skills, and there are still employees who have low education and are not placed according to their expertise.The research method used by researchers is the Qualitative Method with a descriptive approach, while the data collection methods used are: interview, observation, and documentation.From the results of research on human resource development in the sub-district office of Sentajo Raya, Kuantan singing regency has not run optimally.
