Abstract

This research is motivated by the application of organizational culture in the subdistrict office of Benai market, Kuantan Singingi regency. The problems of this research were the service system less effective, and the lack of own initiative of the employees and they did not have responsible in completing their work. This study aims to determine the organizational culture in the Sub-district office of Benai market, Kuantan Singingi regency. The researcher used organizational culture variables according to Ismail Nawawi, which consists of 4 indicators, namely the culture of rational, cultural ideology, cultural consensus, the culture of hierarchical. The key informants consisted of 7 person. This research was a qualitative research with descriptive method. The technique of data collection was done by documentation, observation, triangulation interview method. The organization culture in the sub-district office of Benai market was not running properly. The application of organizational culture in the sub-district office of Benai market used the model or hierarchical culture which means that in such organizations have a strong structure, formal, have the procedure, rules, policy, legislation, control and sanctions.
