Abstract
This research was conducted in Gunung Kesiangan Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out how the Implementation of the Rural Infrastructure Development Program (PPIP) in Gunung Kesiangan Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi District. The formulation of the problem in this study is How the Implementation of the Rural Infrastructure Development Program (PPIP) in Gunung Kesiangan Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. In this study taken as informants were the Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Device Chairperson of the RT / RW, the Chairperson of Youth, Community Leaders and Community members who knew clearly the Implementation of the Rural Infrastructure Development Program (PPIP). Data analysis used is Qualitative Descriptive, namely data analysis with Milles and Hubberman method with data analysis method with interactive model, namely by steps of reducing data, presenting data, concluding and verifying.The efforts of the village head in carrying out the preparation of resources, units and methods have run maximally where the village head has increased the professionalism of his subordinates by participating in the management of funds for infrastructure development through the PPIP program. The efforts of the village head along with the tools to involve the community in the planning stage have not run optimally because the community's awareness to attend village meetings is still low. At the implementation stage, the community has also been involved in the form of mutual cooperation and becoming workers in infrastructure projects, but not all residents want to participate. Not many people are involved in supervising the results of village infrastructure development because the planning and implementation of their participation is very low. In carrying out evaluation of development results it turns out that the community members have not been directly involved due to community participation in the planning, implementation and supervision of village infrastructure development. maximum.
