Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of Sharia Pegadaian in Pekanbaru which has launched a new product, namely Amanah product, which has not been able to fully influence customer interest in Amanah products at PT Pegadaian Syariah.

This study aims to determine how customers are interested in Amanah products at Pegadaian Syariah and what are the factors that influence customer interest in Amanah products at Pegadaian Syariah. The population in this study is the number of customers of the Amanah pawnshop syariah product Ups Tapung 26 customers and the authors set a sample of 26 people. The sampling technique was the total sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed qualitatively.

The results showed that the customer's interest in trustworthy products at Pegadaian Syariah (UPS) Tapung Pekanbaru was included in the low category, namely 26 customers and did not meet the target, while the target to be achieved was 50 customers. factors that influence customer interest in amanah products are influenced by social factors, namely being told, invited to, or influenced by customers who buy Amanah products first, and economic factors, namely someone's purchase is directly proportional to their income, people with high income will buy expensive products compared to with middle and low income people, as well as facility and service factors, namely the availability of waiting chairs, queue numbers, parking lots, then the existence of good services such as ethics and courtesy from Pegadaian Syariah employees.
