Abstract

One of the flagship programs of the Kuantan Singingi Regency Amil Zakat Board which greatly benefits the community is the Productive Zakat Fund Assistance of Rp. 10 million were given free of charge, especially people who work as farmers in an effort to increase their income or the economic level of their families This study used a population of 4 shallot farmers as Mustahiq in Benai Kecil village, with a sampling technique namely Total Sampling. written words or observable behavior. From the results of this study it is concluded that the concept of productive zakat utilization in an effort to increase Mustahiq's income from Baznas Kuantan Singingi Regency in Benai Kecil Village, Benai District, is given capital assistance to 4 Mustahiq people for free of Rp. 10,000,000 (ten million rupiah) in the development of shallot cultivation farming, provided that they come from poor, needy or poor families but have certain businesses that can be developed, own land as evidenced by SKT Tanah, are diligent in worshiping with a certificate from mosque administrators / mushollah and be able to set aside capital for further business and pay zakat of 2.5% to Baznas Kuansing if the agricultural produce reaches its nisab The utilization of this productive zakat fund is very effective and significant for mustahik business activities to increase their income. Where before obtaining productive zakat funds they were only able to produce 8-9 million rupiah per harvest, but after receiving productive zakat funds they were able to produce 14-15 million rupiah per harvest.
