TINJAUAN YURIDIS PELAKSANAAN TUGAS DAN WEWENANG PANWASLU BERDASARKAN UNDANG-UNDANG PEMILU NOMOR. 7 TAHUN 2017 TENTANG PEMILIHAN UMUM DI KECAMATAN BENAI KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

This research is motivated by Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning general elections. There are several problems in the implementation of the simultaneous elections in 2019, one of the problems that occurs is fraud in elections such as administrative violations, manipulation, money politics, campaign violations so that the implementation of the general election is not going well, fair and honest and very far from the view of democracy itself. . The main points of this research are: 1 How the Duties and Authorities of Panwaslu are carried out based on Law no. 7 of 2017 on general elections in Benai sub-district, Kuantan Singingi Regency. 2 What are the factors that hinder the implementation of the duties and authorities of Pnwaslu, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research uses empirical research which is included in the type of basic research (basis research) by using a special study. In this case, it shows that: 1 the implementation of Tugasa and Authority of Panwaslu, Benai District, Kuantan Regency, singingi has been going well and has been in accordance with statutory regulations but has not been effective. 2 There are several obstacles that occur in implementing the duties and authorities of the Benai District Panwaslu. Through agencies related to the existence of Law no. 7 of 2017 concerning general elections is expected to be firm in implementing the duties and powers of the Pnwaslu as well as law enforcement against general election fraud that occurs in the field.
