PERANAN KEPALA DESA DALAM PEMBINAAN MASYARAKAT DESA KOTO SENTAJO KECAMATAN SENTAJO RAYA KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

This research was conducted in Koto Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of the village head in community development in Koto Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The formulation of the problem in the research is How the Role of the Village Head in Community Development in Koto Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The sampling technique for the Village Head and the Village Secretary was saturated sampling technique, where all the population was sampled, the number of samples for the Village Head was 1 person and the Village Secretary was 1 person. and for the community elements of Koto Sentajo Village, simple random sampling was used, namely taking the sample members from the population at random without paying attention to the strata in the population, where the number of samples for the people of Koto Sentajo Village was 48 people. The results showed that the Role of the Village Head in Community Development in Koto Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency resulted in an average value of 3.24 which means that it is in the Quite Good interval. This is because of the 3 indicators used in this research, namely Catalyst, Integrator and Communicator, all of the indicators are quite good.
