Abstract

This research was conducted at the Regent Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Employee Competence on Performance at the District Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The formulation of the problem in the study is whether employee competence has an effect on the performance of the Kuantan Singingi Regent Office. The sampling technique in this study uses Simple Random Sampling, where the sampling of members of the population is done randomly without regard to strata that exist in that population. Analysis of the data used is quantitative descriptive. The analysis used is a simple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination. The test results show that there is an Influence on the Influence of Employee Competence on Performance at the District Office of Kuantan Singingi District which results in a correlation number R of 0.582, which means that

Employee Competence on Performance is quite strong, and the percentage of employee Competence on Performance is 33.8% while 66 , The remaining 2% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. It means that the hypothesis H1 which suspects that Employee Competence Influences Performance at the District Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency is proven true
