Abstract

This , Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of the Village Government in Encouraging Community Participation to build the Beringin Taluk Village, Kuatan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi District. The formulation of the problem in the study was How the Village Government's Efforts to encourage community participation to develop the Beringin Taluk Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The sampling technique for village officials uses the saturated sampling technique, where all the population is sampled, totaling 10 people, and for the community using a random sampling technique, ie taking sample members from the population is done randomly without regard to the strata in that population. Which the number of samples for elements of society amounted to 44 people. The data analysis used is descriptive quantitative, which is to analyze the data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. The results showed the Village Government's Efforts to Encourage Community Participation for Village Development in Beringin Taluk Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency which resulted in an average value of 168 which meant that it was in the Good interval. As well as observations in the field that show that the Village Government's efforts are sufficiently maximal in Encouraging Community Participation.
