TINJAUAN YURIDIS TINDAK PIDANA PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOTIKA GOLONGAN I (Studi Kasus Putusan Nomor : 185/Pid.Sus/2019/PN Tlk)

Abstract

Narcotics are substances that are useful and necessary for the treatment of certain diseases, but if their use is not according to the rules, they can have a negative impact that will harm many parties. This will be even more detrimental if it is accompanied by the illicit trafficking of narcotics. In fact, many criminal cases are caused by the widespread distribution of narcotics in the community. From this case, negative impacts arise that require immediate resolution. the judge chose to impose imprisonment on the perpetrators, such as in the decision of the Teluk Kuantan District Court regarding the Crime of Narcotics Abuse Category I (Case Study Decision Number: 185/Pid.Sus/2019/PN Tlk. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of criminal sanctions in the crime of narcotics abuse and how judges consider in deciding cases of criminal acts of drug abuse.
