Abstract

The research in this thesis is motivated by the gap between theory

and real life in the field. Where in theory it is stated that what influences customers to choose to save at Islamic banks include: (1) Easy access, (2) due to strategic location factors, (3) Location is clearly visible from the roadside, (4) Many vehicles are traffic, (5) a large parking area, (6) a secure ATM location, (7) a surrounding area that supports the services offered, (8) a CCTV camera, (9) a road sign, (10) an ATM BSI in Kuansing is reproduced. While the results of interviews from several communities stated that the factors that influenced the people of the village of Sitorajo kari saving were due to services provided by competitors' locations and several other factors that were not examined in this study.

This study aims to determine the effects of location on the interest of the people of the village of Sitorajo Kari to save at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani.

The population in this study is a number of people from the village of Sitorajo Kari, totaling 1908 people. The sampling method is by nonprobability sampling The data of this study were obtained from a questionnaire (primary) This study uses quantitative approach and uses a Causality The analysis used is simple linear regressions analyis with test and coefficient of determination

Partially, the results of the study are that the location has a positive and significant effect on the interest of the people of Sitorajo kari saving in Bank Syariah Indonesia Kcp Kuansing Ahmad Yani, this evidenced by a smaller significance value and 5% (0,002 < 0,05). Based on the analysis of the coofficient of determination (R2) explains that 19.1% of the meibung community’s interest variables are influeced by location variables and the remaining 80.9% are influenced by other factors not examined in this study
