PERAN BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA (BUMDES) TUAH SAKATO DALAM MEMBERDAYAKAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DI DESA LOGAS KECAMATAN SINGINGI KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the village-owned enterprise (BUMDes) Tuah Sakato in empowering the community's economy in Logas Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative, data obtained by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of this study, the researchers revealed that Logas Village has one unit of BUMDes business entity named Tuah Sakato, the business activity of this BUMDes is Saprodi (production facilities). The research problem is in empowering the economy of rural communities and has not played an effective role in improving the community's economy, especially to improve the village economy. The results of the research on the role of Tuah Sakato Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Empowering Community Economy in Logas Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, in their role are still less instrumental. Because Tuah Sakato BUMDes have not played an effective role in empowering the community's economy, it can be seen from the contribution of BUMDes itself such as the provision of business programs that are still limited and can cause obstacles to economic development and economic empowerment of the people of Logas Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency
