ANALISIS PENGETAHUAN PETANI KARET KUANTAN SINGINGI TERHADAP JUAL BELI KARET DI APKARKUSI

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high number of rubber farmers in Kuantan Singingi, where many people in Kuantan Singingi Regency work as rubber farmers. With the large number of rubber farmers in Kuantan Singingi, an association was established that accommodates Kuantan Singingi rubber farmers with the aim of increasing the income of Kuantan Singingi rubber farmers by setting a rubber purchase price that is higher than the price at middlemen (Toke). This study aims to determine the knowledge of Kuantan Singingi rubber farmers on buying and selling rubber in the Apkarkusi Cooperative. The population in this study was the rubber farming community of Kuantan Singingi with a total sample of 44 respondents. The sampling technique is by Accidental Sampling. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively by using the percentage formula. The results of this study that the knowledge of Kuantan Singingi rubber farmers on buying and selling rubber in the Apkarkusi Cooperative using the auction system is included in the fairly high category as indicated by the figure of 50%. And factors that support the knowledge of Kuantan Singingi rubber farmers on buying and selling rubber in the Apkarkusi Cooperative are factors of occupation, education, age.
