UPAYA PENANGANAN PEMBIAYAAN BERMASALAH DI BMT AT-TAQWA MUHAMMADIYAH PADANG CABANG PASAR RAYA
Abstract
Non-performing financing is financing caused by customers who do not occupy the installment payment schedule and do not meet the requirements stated in the contract. According to Bank Indonesia in PBI No. 5/7/2003, the assessment and classification of the quality of nonperforming financing is divided into five groups, namely current, substandard, doubtful, and loss. BMT At-TAqwa Muhammadiyah Padang has Fundraising products including DEMUTA, mudharabah, Education savings, Hajj savings, and Qurban deposits. Fund distribution products include murabahah, Bai'Bitsaman Ajil (BBA), and Qardhul Hasan.
This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods the data used are derived from primary and secondary data.
The results of this study indicate that the initial efforts made by BMT At-Taqwa Muhammadiyah Padang, Pasar Raya Branch by analyzing the factors causing problematic financing.
Related to efforts to handle non-performing financing There are several efforts by BMT At-Taqwa Muhamadiyah Pasar Raya Branch in dealing with non-performing financing including: Rescheduling, Restructuring.
Furthermore, it is related to the Problem Financing Settlement at BMT At-Taqwa Muhammadiyah Padang Pasar Raya Branch. If the problem cannot be handled, the last way to do it is to carry out a guarantee confiscation (execution) and the process of bookkeeping writeoff.
