EVALUASI PEMANFAATAN PEMBANGUNAN SUMUR BOR DI DESA PULAU ARO KECAMATAN KUANTAN TENGAH KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

Water is the source of the continuity of life for living things on earth, without water, living things would not be able to survive. Currently water is very important to flow the rice fields of the villagers of Pulau Aro. But currently the water flowing down the rice fields is not optimal because the drilling well is only one well and is not maximal enough to drain all the rice fields of the Aro Island villagers. The construction of this drilling well is a series of fulfilling the needs of the community to irrigate rice fields with law number 6 of 2014 which explains that the goal of village development is to improve the welfare of rural communities and alleviate poverty. This study used a purposive sampling method and simple random sampling. With this type of qualitative descriptive research, this research provides, systemative and accurate symptoms of facts or events. This research is about the quality of drilling well development in the village of the island of aro, central Kuantan district, Kuantan singingi district. Found problems in the quality of drilling wells, such as very little and inadequate water flowing into rice fields and water not flowing to all rice fields. This research is used as input for all parties involved in the construction of drilling wells in the village of Aro Island.
