Abstract

The problem that occurs in the Kuantan Singingi Hot Springs Tourism Object is that there are still many short comings around the hot spring tourist attraction, such as inadequate road access due to muddy dirt roads during the raiy season and foggy during the dry season. The facilities in the hot springs are also lacking such as a place to change clothes after bathing, clean water to clean the body is also not available, and there is no resting place for visitors. The purpose of this study was to determine the implenmentation of tourism development policies in Kuantan Regency singing a case study of Hot Water Baths in Kuantan Hulu District. As for the method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques oblained from observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results of the study show that the role of the tourism office plays an important role in tourism development including carrying out the construction of facilities, tourist attractions, increasing, involving the role of local communities, ease of accessibility, prices, and security of tourist objects.
