Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of Islamic banking in Teluk Kuantan City, which currently has several Islamic banks, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri, BSI, and Bank Riau Kepri Syariah. Teluk Kuantan and Kuantan Singingi generally have a majority Muslim population with large incomes.

This study aims to determine the Perceptions of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Perceptions of Islamic Banks and what are the factors that influence the perceptions of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Perceptions of Sharia Banks. The population in this study were Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Jake Village, Kuantan Tengah District, amounting to 1,464 people. And the author only took 44 people as a sample. Sampling technique using the Slovin formula. And the data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively using the percentage formula.

From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Perceptions of Perceptions of Micro, Small and Medium Business Actors towards Islamic banks are included in the fairly good category as indicated by the figure of 45.45%. The factors that influence the perception of MSME actors towards Islamic banks are family factors and cultural factors.
