STRATEGI PENGELOLAAN WAKAF UANG OLEH LEMBAGA BDAN INDONESIA PROVINSI RIAU (STUDY KASUS BWI PROVINSI RIAU )

Abstract

Endowments potential diIndonesia money is very large, with the current number of Isam the largest in the world, especially diIndonesia is the biggest asset to collect and develop waqf money. If cash waqf can be implemented, there are potential funds that can be used for the benefit of the ummah. Based on Cholil Nafis' assumption. If 20 million Muslims in Indonesia collect cash waqf worth Rp. 100 thousand per month, the funds collected amount to Rp 24 trillion every year, If 50 million people are donating, each year will collect waqf funds of Rp 60 trillion. If there are 1 million Muslims who donate funds of Rp 100,000 per month, the collection will be obtained waqf funds of IDR 100 billion per month (1.2 trillion per year).

The research objective was to find out how the strategy of collecting cash waqf by BWI Riau Province and to know how the management of cash waqf by BWI Riau province. This study uses an inductive descriptive analysis approach, where the research pattern begins with the collection of general statements from the informants to draw specific conclusions and then analyzes them to formulate a cash waqf management strategy by the Indonesian waqf agency in Riau province. Data collection came from interviews with the implementation board in Bwi and the collection of several documents related to research.

The results showed that the recommended strategy was increased cooperation with the Riau Kepri bank and socialization to the public about the role of cash waqf.
