Abstract

This research was carried out at the office of cooperative service, Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade, and Industry in Teluk Kuantan, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. merchant shops that sell on the street make the arrangement of the city untidy, disturbing security, and mutual comfort. Therefore, the perpetrators of relocation of traders who are in the modern-based traditional market. To find out how to implement the relocation of modern traditional markets in Kuantan Bay and what are the obstacles in implementing the relocation of modern-based traditional market players in Kuantan Bay. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative analysis method. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are interviews, documentation, and field observations. Determination of informants in this study using porposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. The results of this study can unlock the implementation of the traditional market trader relocation policy in Kuantan Bay, Kuantan Regency which is carried out by the small and medium business cooperative service, trade, and industry, namely being able to carry out relocation of traders optimally and being able to manage the market in terms of structuring traders properly and correctly.
