Abstract

 Motivation is a driving factor that can create morale. This research was conducted at the Teluk Beringin Village Office, Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study explains how the work motivation of the Teluk Beringin village apparatus is. Data collection techniques in this study by means of observation, interviews, and documentation to determine the work motivation of village officials. While the sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique, namely the determination of the sample with certain considerations, which had a close relationship with the research objective. 12 people were selected as samples, namely the Village Head, Village Secretary, Head of Affairs, Section Head, Kadus, and Staff. The data analysis used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis method, namely the data obtained will be discussed thoroughly based on the facts that occur, then compared with concepts and theories that support the discussion of the problems in this study and then experience generally accepted conclusions. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Work Motivation of Teluk Beringin Village Apparatus is categorized as "good enough" as seen from the answers to interviews with informants. Therefore, the authors expect the Teluk Beringin village apparatus to further improve their work supported by the provision of motivation from the appropriate leadership.
