Abstract

This research was conducted at the Sungai Jering Village Office, Central Kuantan District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership role of the lurah in the Sungai Jering sub-district office, Kuantan Tengah sub-district, Kuantan Singingi district. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of the lurah leadership in the Sungai Jering sub-district office, Kuantan Tengah sub-district, Kuantan singingi district. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative that is trying to provide an accurate description or explanation of the problems studied, namely the role of the leadership of the lurah in the Sungai Jering sub-district office. Kuantan Tengah sub-district, Kuantan singingi district, explains the existing data systematically based on the facts that appear or as they are so as to provide an objective picture of the actual state of the object under study. The results of this study can be concluded that the leadership role of the lurah in the Sungai Jering sub-district office, Kuantan Tengah sub-district, Kuantan Singingi Regency is quite instrumental which is obtained from the results of interviews with informants in the field which shows the ability of a leader in carrying out his role, measured from several indicators, namely personal roles. , information provider and decision-making roles.
