GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA DESA DI TERATAK AIR HITAM KECAMATAN SENTAJO RAYA KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

Leadership style is a pattern of behavior designed in such a way as to influence subordinates in order to maximize the performance of their subordinates so that organizational performance and organizational goals are maximized. One of them is the leadership style of the Teratak Air Hitam Village Head, Sentajo Raya District, which is one of the leadership ranks in Kuantan Singingi Regency.               Based on the results of research with interviews conducted with 19 informants in this study, of the 8 types of leadership styles that exist, the Teratak Air Hitam Village Head is a leader who adopts a charismatic and democratic leadership style in leading, because he is a charismatic leader figure, he is a leader figure authoritative, able to influence subordinates, in making decisions, always consult to reach consensus, always provide guidance for subordinates in carrying out their work, able to provide responsibilities according to the abilities of their subordinates, he is a person who highly respects cooperation in carrying out work and always understands the differences that exist .               This type of research is qualitative research, which is for careful measurement of case studies of certain social phenomena. In this study there are two sources of data used, namely primary data and secondary data. To obtain data, researchers conducted observations with related parties at the research location and interviews. The location of the research was carried out in Teratak Air Hitam Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.
