Abstract

In the process of developing a country, it is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the responsibility of the entire community. Development can be interpreted as an effort for growth and change that is planned and implemented consciously by a nation. Pulau Padang Village is a traditional village where the Village government systematically always coordinates with traditional institutions in Pulau Padang Village to plan and implement development that concerns the needs of the people and the welfare of the Village community. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of physical village development in Pulau Padang Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The formulation of the problem in the research is how to implement physical development in villages in Pulau Padang Village, Singingi sub-district, Kuantan Singingi district. The data analysis used is Qualitative Descriptive or also called content analysis. The results of this research are the need for indicators to support development from a physical perspective, namely Indicators for Mobilizing activities in the context of carrying out government affairs in the Village By involving the community in development process activities, Indicators for Driving Implementation of Development, Guidance and Empowerment of Village Communities Lack of involving the community in the development process, Indicators for Facilitating Efforts Increasing Community Participation and Self-Help, it is hoped that development will increasingly be felt by the community, Indicators for Creating an atmosphere of peace and order in the community, Village Heads in improving security and community order, Indicators for the Quality of Village Government Apparatus Resources, Quality of Human Resources, Indicators for Infrastructure Facilities, Work Plans implementation of Padang Island village development, work plan preparation activities are carried out by the village government, Community Resource Quality Indicators, the availability of education greatly determines the quality of an area's human resources.
