PERAN PEMERINTAH DESA DALAM PERCEPATAN PENURUNAN STUNTING DI DESA RAWANG BINJAI KECAMATAN PANGEAN KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which toddlers have less length or height when compared to their age. Stunted toddlers in the future will have difficulty in achieving optimal physical and cognitive development. In this case, the role of the village government is urgently needed in reducing stunting. This research was carried out in Rawang Binjai village, Pangean District, Kuantan singing district. The purpose of this study is to find out the Role of the Village Government in Accelerating Stunting Reduction in Rawang Binjai Village, Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The theory used is According to Ryaas Rasyid (in Charisma Listiani 2021). Which has several indicators, namely the Role of Facilitator, Role of Dynamismator, and Role of Regulator. The research methods used by the author in this study are quantitative descriptive methods, data collection methods used questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The sampling technique uses  a saturated sampling technique where all populations are sampled. The results of the study show that the role of the village government in accelerating stunting reduction in Rawang Binjai village produces an average score of 3.83 which is in the Good interval.
