TINJAUAN YURIDIS EFEKTIVITAS PEMBINAAN KEAGAMAAN BAGI WARGA BINAAN PEREMPUAN DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KELAS IIB TELUK KUANTAN

Abstract

The guidance provided to female inmates serves to shape them into whole human beings, to realize their mistakes, to improve themselves, and not to repeat criminal acts so that they can be accepted back into the community, actively participate in development, and live normally as good and responsible citizens. The problems formulated in this study are the effectiveness of religious guidance for female inmates, and what factors hinder the religious guidance for female inmates at the Lapas Kelas IIB Teluk Kuantan (Lapas). The purpose of this study is to determine the religious guidance for female inmates and to identify what obstacles are encountered in the implementation of religious guidance for female inmates at the Lapas Kelas IIB Teluk Kuantan. For this paper, the author uses the research method of Sociological-Empirical Research; empirical legal research or sociological legal research, which is legal research that obtains data from primary and secondary data sources. The religious guidance that has been carried out for female inmates at the Lapas Kelas IIB Teluk Kuantan Penitentiary includes religious lectures, fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), tahsin (Quranic recitation improvement), and Christian religious services. These activities are in collaboration with the Kuantan Singingi Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs and the KH. Ahmad Dahlan Islamic Boarding School of Teluk Kuantan to bring in clerics (ustad) or teachers to fill the events. Obstacles encountered in the implementation of religious guidance for female inmates at the Lapas Kelas IIB Teluk Kuantan include the absence of specialized officers in the field of religious guidance, overcapacity at the Lapas Kelas IIB Teluk Kuantan, the absence of specific female teachers for female inmates, and the lack of infrastructure in the implementation of religious guidance
