Abstract

This suggested aims to determine the implementation of the cleanliness program at the Kuantan Singingi Regency Environmental Service. The problem found is that there are still programs being implemented but the implementation and implementation of these programs are not yet smooth. As there are still many people who throw rubbish carelessly, even though rubbish dump sites have been provided. This research method is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Qualitative descriptive research is research that aims to describe and describe events and phenomena that occur in the field and present data systematically, factually and accurately regarding facts or phenomena that occur in the field. Information consists of 8 people. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research uses source triangulation to check the validity of the research data. Data analysis in this research uses four components consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, it can be concluded that the implementation of the cleanliness program at the Kuantan Singingi Regency Environmental Service has been implemented sufficiently. Although various facilities and programs have been provided, such as waste disposal sites and socialization to the community, in reality there are still many people who litter. This shows that the level of public awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness is still low.
