TINJAUAN YURIDIS PEMBINAAN TERHADAP WARGA BINAAN PERMASYARAKATAN PELAKU TINDAK PIDANA ASUSILA TERHADAP ANAK DI LEMBAGA PERMASYARAKATAN KELAS II B TELUK KUANTAN

Abstract

Based on the recapitulation data from the Class II B Teluk Kuantan Correctional Institution, the level of criminal cases of immorality against children in Kuantan Singingi Regency is very concerning, so the author has a personal view that it is necessary to conduct a research on the guidance of Correctional Institution officers for inmates of immoral acts against children so that they can be more effective in preventing and suppressing crimes of immoral acts against children. This study aims to examine the guidance carried out for inmates who are perpetrators of immoral acts against children at the Class II B Teluk Kuantan Correctional Institution, as well as to review the legal aspects that underlie the implementation of the guidance. The research method used is a normative legal approach and empirical legal approach, with data obtained through literature studies and interviews with correctional officers. The results of the study indicate that the guidance carried out includes personality and skills guidance, although in its implementation there are still obstacles such as limited human resources, facilities, and community stigma against prisoners. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen regulations and synergy between correctional institutions, law enforcement officers, and the community to create an effective and sustainable guidance system
