Abstract

The village government is the smallest government institution in Indonesia that is responsible for regulating and running the government at the village level.  The village government is led by a village head who is directly elected by the village community through the election of the village head. As a figure directly elected by the community, the village head has an important role in coordinating various administrative, development, and public service activities in the village. In addition, the village head also functions as a bridge between the central or regional government and the village community, ensuring that the policies set can be accepted and implemented properly. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of the village government in fostering the young generation through the use of integrated sports facilities and infrastructure in Teratak Air Hitam Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used are more observations, interviews, and documentation. The problem found is the lack of role of the village government in fostering the young generation through the use of integrated sports facilities and infrastructure in Teratak Air Hitam Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the results of research in the field, it is known that the Village Government in Fostering the Young Generation through the Utilization of Integrated Sports Central Facilities and Infrastructure in Teratak Air Hitam Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency is still lacking.
