TINJAUAN YURIDIS PENEGAKAN HUKUM TINDAK PIDANA ILLEGAL LOGGING DI WILAYAH HUKUM KEPOLISIAN RESORT KUANTAN SINGINGI TAHUN 2017

Abstract

This research is focused on Law Enforcement Against Illegal Logging in the Kuantan Singingi District Police Legal Area, the formulation of the issues raised is (1) How is the law enforcement against Illegal logging criminal acts by the Kuantan Singingi Police Department? (2) What are the inhibiting factors in efforts to eradicate illegal logging by the Kuantan Singingi Police Department? Based on the results of research and analysis, it can be concluded that the handling of law enforcement for illegal logging offenders in Kuantan Singingi District is running as it should. The actions taken by the Kuantan Singingi Resort Police in eradicating illegal logging are in the form of: pre-emptive actions, preventive actions and preventive actions (actions). These Pre-Emotional Acts include socialization activities or guidance to the public regarding Illegal logging crime, Preventive actions taken by the Kuantan Singingi Police Department in the form of appeals and socialization or legal counseling about criminal acts of illegal logging. While the repressive actions carried out by the Kuantan Singingi Resort Police include: Conducting Investigations, Investigations, Arrests, Detention, Confiscation, Prosecution, and Inspection at the trial , inadequate facilities and infrastructure, community factors and lack of human resources owned by law enforcement officials.
