IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KETAHANAN PANGAN DI DESA PADANG KUNIK KECAMATAN PANGEAN KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

The implementation of a good food security program from the community is the main goal of the government in empowering and improving regional food security resources in Kuantan Singingi Regency. Through the food security policy, the government hopes to increase economic growth and development so as to provide welfare to the community. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the level of implementation and inhibiting factors in the food security program in Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive case study approach with a data collection process through interviews, observations and document studies. The research was conducted in Padang Kunik Village, Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The factors that hinder the implementation of food security policies in Padang Kunik Village, Pangean District are the lack of facilities, facilities and infrastructure in the implementation of the food security program in Padang Kunik Village, Pangean District, then also the lack of budget provided by the government to support the implementation of food security policies in Padang Kunik Village, Pangean District such as the implementation of activities both counseling, meetings in program preparation and pilot activities. The community has the ability to realize food security and nutrition through the development of a subsystem of availability, distribution, and food consumption by utilizing local resources in a sustainable manner.
