Abstract

This research was conducted in Sangau village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of Regent Regulation Number 12 of 2012 concerning Control of Livestock and Animals Transmitted Rabies in Kuantan Singingi District. (Case Study in Sangau Village, Kuantan Mudik District). The formulation of the problem in the study is how the implementation of Regent Regulation Number 12 of 2012 concerning Control of Livestock and Animals Transmitted Rabies in Kuantan Singingi Regency. (Case Study in Sangau Village, Kuantan Mudik District). The sampling technique uses the Purposive Sampling method. Purposive Sampling is a technique of determining samples with certain considerations. The results showed that Regent Regulation No. 12 of 2012 concerning Control of Livestock and Transmitted Rabies Animals was not yet effective for controlling livestock and transmissible animals, especially in Sangau villages. It can be seen that there are still many transmitting animals and rabies that are still hanging around, especially in the Sangau village of Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, which is caused by a lack of socialization regarding this Regent Regulation, as well as the lack of control of Rabies transmitting animals, and this implementation is difficult given the culture people who have already released their livestock from the past.
