Abstract

Asset management is science and art to guide the management of wealth systematically for the realization of administrative order in government agencies. This research was conducted at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study describes how good asset management, especially governance and transportation of heavy equipment in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out how mobile asset governance in the Public Works and Space Works Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. Data collection techniques researchers conducted by observation, documentation, and interviews. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method, namely sampling is chosen from people who are experts, or have a close relationship based on the research objectives. Then the chosen sample is the boss or the leader. And the data analysis used is descriptive qualitative method that is analyzing the data obtained based on reality then connected with the theories that support the discussion. Furthermore, the author draws some conclusions from the explanation. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Moving Asset Management in the Public Works Agency and Spatial Planning Case Study of Transport Equipment and Heavy Equipment Arrangements is quite good. Based on the results of the study, researchers suggested increasing human resources to support good governance, and more carefully taking into account maintenance and maintenance budget planning in the preparation of budgets to avoid overbudget in the event of damage to assets.
