Abstract

This research is motivated by the enormous human needs that demand to fulfill in a reasonable manner. Humans must work, in the world of work Human Resources (HR) are needed to achieve a goal that has been targeted by the company. Companies must be able to build and improve performance in their environment. the success of the company is influenced by several factors, one of the important factors is human resources. PT. Pegadaian Sharia UPS Paus Ujung Pekanbaru has a target company so that the steps taken are the existence of Work Discipline and employee Performance.This study aims to determine the Work Discipline and Employee Performance at PT. Pegadaian Sharia UPS Paus Ujung Pekanbaru. The population in this study were 4 employees at UPS Pegadaian Syariah and 4 of them were given the very limited population. The sampling technique used in this study is Non Probabilty with the type used is saturated sampling. The data collection technique used was interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of this research, it was explained that the work discipline that had been applied in the PT. Pegadaian Sharia UPS Paus Ujung Pekanbaru greatly affected employee performance. From the rules that have been made, the company has reached 75% of employees who comply so that the employee's performance is well accompanied by very satisfying results. Factors that influence work discipline and employee performance are the clarity of the rules that have been made and strict sanctions from these regulations so that employees become more guard and obey the rules that have been made in order to achieve common goals.
