UPAYA PENEGAKAN HUKUM TINDAK PIDANA NARKOTIKA DI WILAYAH HUKUM KEPOLISIAN SEKTOR KUANTAN HILIR

Abstract

A criminal act is an action or an act committed by a human being where the act is prohibited by criminal law. One crime that often occurs in Indonesia is Narcotics. In general, Narcotics problems can be divided into three interrelated parts, namely the existence of illicit Narcotics production, illicit trafficking, and narcotics abuse.The problem in this research is how the efforts to enforce narcotics crime in the Kuantan Hilir Police Sector jurisdiction, and what are the inhibiting factors in the enforcement of narcotics criminal acts in the Kuantan Hilir Police Sector jurisdiction.For this writing, the author uses empirical sociological legal research methods by means of a survey, while the nature of the research is descriptive with sampling techniques using populations and samples with puspossive sampling methods. With data collection tools in the form of interviews and literature study.Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there are a number of Preventive and Repressive efforts in law enforcement carried out by the Kuantan Hilir Sector Police in Narcotics crime such as, Socialization, Counseling, investigation, investigation, arrest, detention, detention, search, confiscation and submission of case files. Furthermore, the obstacles faced by the  Kuantan Hillir Police Sector in conducting law enforcement efforts are legal factors, HR factors,  facilities and infrastructure factors, community factors and budget support.
