Abstract

    In the organization suastu is a very important factor in determining the goals determined by the organization. Leadership is the central point and determinant of the activities that will be carried out in the organization. According to Prajudi Atmosudirdjo (in M. Karjadi, 2008: 2) Leadership is a behavior to influence other people so they want to be directed to achieve certain goals. Whereas According to Mulyadi (2015: 150) Leadership is the ability to encourage groups to achieve goals. Whereas according to Ngalim Purwanto (in Prakoso, 2016: 24) Leadership is a set of discretion and personality traits, including authority to be used as a means in order to make it possible for them to be willing and able to do tasks that are willingly charged with enthusiasm , there was inner excitement, and it couldn't be. The leadership style applied by the Sumber Datar village head in my study was the Laissez Faire Leadership Style, in this case the leader did not give the leader. Where is the leader who designs the style of leadership in general Choose his subordinates to master their own will. Instructions and controls about activities and projects of their subordinates are not carried out. By training, how to work together with the people themselves, directives, suggestions from the leadership do not exist, while the responsibilities and responsibilities of the road are confusing, there are no right conditions and the consequences that occur. For this leadership style is usually not suitable if applied in the organization because it will produce uncontrolled problems.
