PERAN KEPALA DESA DALAM PENGELOLAAN PASAR DESA DI DESA LOGAS KECAMATAN SINGINGI KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI
Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack of market facilities to support the economy of the community. The problem were location of this study is the lack of economic knowledge from the market manager about the market. This situation occurs due to several reasons, one of which is no management clearly from the village government and from the organization or association of local traders, the role of the village head in coordinating development, in addition to the ability of village government officials to empower the community. The community participation is an important factor in the development process, because in reality village development really requires active involvement from the community. The purpose of this research was to determine the role of village head in managing the village market in the district of singingi logas village kuantan singingi regency. The informants in this research were one village head, one head of the market manager and ten people. The technique of data collection were interview, observation, documentation, and triangulation. After the data is collected, it is grouped according to the type and data source then analyzed in descriptive qualitative manner. The results obtained that the role of the village head in the management of village markets in the village of logas there are still obstacles that until now have not been overcome and are still categorized as not good.
