IMPLEMENTASI UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 22 TAHUN 2009 TENTANG LALU LINTAS DAN ANGKUTAN JALAN DI KOTA TELUK KUANTAN KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI (STUDI KASUS PASAL 4)

Abstract

This researcher was conducted in Teluk Kuantan City, Kuantan Singingi Regency on Road Traffic and Transportation and at the Office of Transportation Department of Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to find out how Road Traffic and Transportation by the Kuantan Singingi Regency Government. Informants in this study were 19 people using Purposive Sampling and Incidental Sampling techniques. The researcher found that there were problems that the Implementation of Road Traffic and Transportation was not maximal. This is due to the lack of control of traffic flow, the determination of types of public transport modes, network patterns, transportation route permits, parking policies and traffic signs. The number of drivers or motorists who violate applicable regulations. Traffic infrastructure and road transport facilities are also inadequate due to lack of budget funds for the infrastructure facilities. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The researcher analyzes data from various sources obtained from the field using data collection methods by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research in the field, it can be seen that the Implementation of Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation has not been running optimally.
